How hospital membership works
One account belongs to one hospital. There is no team switcher — the hospital is your team.
TachyDx Teams follows a strict one-user-one-hospital model. Your account belongs to a single hospital, and that hospital is your team. There is no team picker and no switching between hospitals.
What this means for you
- When you sign in, you go straight to your hospital's workspace — no “choose a team” step.
- Your role (attending, nurse, pharmacist, and so on) comes from your single membership in that hospital and drives everything you see.
- If you administer a hospital, you can't create a second one on the same account — the system tells you “You already have an active team” and sends you back to it.
Note
If you genuinely need to work with a different hospital, that hospital's admin invites your account to it as a separate membership. Day to day, you'll only ever be in one.
Team, workspace, hospital — which is which?
These words are used closely together in-product. In practice: the hospital is your institution; the workspace (or team) is the console you all work inside. Most hospitals run one workspace for everything, with departments and wards organised inside it.
