Notifications and clinical alerts

Turn on Web Push so you get Code Blue and critical alerts even when the tab is in the background.

TachyDx has three notification layers: in-app notifications, browser Web Push for time-critical clinical alerts, and email preferences for the research portal.

In-app notifications

The bell in the workspace shows unread notifications (the badge caps at 9+). Open it to read items, mark them as read, or clear them.

Enabling clinical alerts (Web Push)

Web Push delivers Code Blue and critical events even when the TachyDx tab is in the background. Inside the team workspace, a prompt appears at the bottom-right:

  1. 1When you see “Turn on clinical alerts”, select Enable alerts.
  2. 2Your browser asks permission to send notifications — select Allow.
  3. 3You're now subscribed. Code Blue and critical clinical events will push to this device.

Note

If you dismiss the prompt, it won't nag you again on that device. You can still allow notifications later from your browser's site settings.

Email preferences (research portal)

On the research portal, open Settings → Notification Preferences to toggle emails for: when someone answers your question, when your paper is published, and verification status updates. Select Save Preferences.
