Installing the app

TachyDx installs as a web app — add it to your home screen on iPhone, Android, or desktop.

TachyDx installs directly from your browser as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — no app store needed. Once installed, it opens in its own window like a native app.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. 1Open TachyDx in Safari.
  2. 2Tap the Share button.
  3. 3Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. 4Launch TachyDx from the new home-screen icon.

Note

A banner in the app reminds you: “Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.” On iPhone, installing this way is also what lets Web Push clinical alerts work.

Android and desktop (Chrome / Edge)

  1. 1Open TachyDx in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2When the Install tachyDx banner appears, select Install (or use the install icon in the address bar).
  3. 3TachyDx installs and opens in its own window.
